To celebrate the last Human Brain Project Summit, which just took place in Marseille, HBP has teamed up with the transport company SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français) and with local street artist collective Lartmada to produce a neuroscience mural.  

The piece was unveiled at Gare Saint Charles, the main train station in Marseille, on the 27th of March. On the left you can see a selection of striking scientific images produced by HBP researchers in recent years – they describe the complexity, multiplicity of approach and unexpected beauty of neuroscience research.

These images are also being displayed in a public art exhibition in Marseille, currently at Brasserie Zoumai. The right side shows the mural piece, created by collective Lartmada, currently led by the artists Remy Uno and Guillaume Heng. The mural will be displayed at Gare Saint Charles until the end of April.
