New HBP brochure: Spotlights on major achievements

11 September 2023

With the Human Brain Project (HBP) successfully concluding in September, we are excited to present a new brochure highlighting some of the project’s major achievements. As a European Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Flagship – a long-term and large-scale research initiative – the HBP has ambitiously pioneered digital brain research.

In this new publication, a selection of spotlights offers a glimpse on how HBP research has contributed to a deeper understanding of the complex structure and function of the human brain, to advances in brain medicine and to the technological development of brain-derived applications.

The scientific advances and other achievements presented in this brochure have been enabled by a unique interdisciplinary approach connecting neuroscience and technology, which will continue with the support of the HBP’s digital research infrastructure EBRAINS.

EBRAINS  offers access to state-of-the-art tools and services, and is now transitioning into a sustainable infrastructure that will remain available to the scientific community as a lasting contribution of the HBP to global scientific progress.
